Michael Molzahn is the new Mosta coach

After a short stint with Marsa, Michael Molzahn is replacing Alex Delia at the helm of first division team, Mosta FC which collected six points from two wins and have five defeats to show for this year.

Mr Molzahn, the ex Malta Under 21 assistant coach managed to collect just two points from two draws, against St. George's and Pieta. Marsa managed four goals in favour and twenty goals against in nine matches during his spell this year. Molzahn was Marsa's coach when he guided them last year to being promoted to the Maltese Premier league. Last Sunday Mr. Molzahn was seen in the stands watching his ex-Marsa team get a 1-1 draw against this year's high flying Msida St. Joseph.

Milan to visit Malta for training camp

As reported by the local and foreign media AC Milan have set their eyes on a visit to our islands due to our mild climate and top notch facilities. The local fans must be ecstatic at the notion of viewing one of the best teams in Europe training here and playing some friendly matches against local teams.

Birth of a blog

I started off collecting statistics this year on the local footballing scene and this inspired me to share them with you all. Our local sports scene needs to improve thus promopting a better reportage of what is happening so as to rekindle the interest there once was. Statistics are rarely seen in our papers or sites relating to Malta's football leagues and videos are rarely posted online.
